Omie M. Ryan, President

Omie served as chairperson of the Pitney Farm Public Purpose Study Committee and was a member of the Pitney Farm Transition Report Committee.  She was a City Planner for the City of New York and adjunct lecturer in Geography at Colgate University. Omie moved to Mendham Township in 2006.

Teresa Finlay, Vice President

Teresa moved to Mendham Township in 1998, where she lives with her husband and 3 sons. She has an MBA in Finance and a BA in Art & Architectural History from Columbia University. Her experience in historic preservation and interpretive historic use include the restoration of the Nesbitt House, c. 1813, in the historic Ralston district of Mendham Township and the design, construction and fundraising for the Ralston Playground which features elements from Mendham Township’s history: the grist mill, post office/general store, and Rock-a-Bye Railroad.

Marc R. Parette, Secretary

Marc,  principal in the firm of Parette Somjen Architects,  is a licensed architect with more than 30 years of professional architectural experience which is complemented by over six years of experience as the owner of a general construction company. Marc is a licensed planner in the State of New Jersey and has offered expert opinions and testimony before municipal boards and state courts.

Susan M. Browse, Treasurer

Susan worked in the banking industry for 16 years and has held board positions in several local organizations including the Mendham Junior Women’s Club, the Mendham Newcomers Club, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Mendham Township HSA and Mendham High School PTO. She moved to Mendham Township in 2000.

Nancy J. Bailin, Director

Nancy, a retired psychologist, has served as board president of the Mendham Township Library and the Community Soup Kitchen as well as serving on the board of the Library of the Mendhams.  She moved to Mendham Township in 1972.

Peter D. Dumovic, Director

Peter served on the initial Pitney Farm Transition Report Committee.  He is a medical marketing and business development professional. He has served in board positions at the Mendham Township Library and  Mendham High School PTO.  He has resided in Mendham Township in the Pitney Farm Estates neighborhood for 19 years.

Erik P. Sletteland, Director

Erik is Vice President of an international construction management/general contracting company. The son of Mrs. Kathleen Pitney, Erik grew up on Pitney Farm, lives locally and has been active with several preservation and adaptive reuse projects in the area.

Tjelda vander Meijden, Director

Tjelda was Artist in Resident at Pitney Farm from 2012-2014 and has lived in Mendham Township since 1968. She is a plein air painter and Master Printmaker with national and international gallery and museum exhibitions. She served on the Pitney Farm Transition Report Committee and has been a board member of several notable art institutes including the Printmaking Council of New Jersey.

P. David Zimmerman, Director

David is President of a community planning consulting firm located in Morristown, NJ. He presently provides professional planning services to numerous municipalities and private clients throughout the state. He taught City Planning at Rutgers University for 14 years. David has resided in Mendham for 36 years.
